The Chrysalis Crew are ripping up the rule book, changing the world of work because it’s time for something new.
Born out of initial frustration with ‘old school’ HR and unethical consultancy practices, Chrysalis was founded in 2014 by Kelly Swingler, the UK’s youngest HR Director, with the focus on putting people first and making a real difference.
Whether you are looking to develop your own career path with our Executive Coaching, develop your team with our online courses and workshops or transform your organisation with our consultancy solutions, we’ve got something that will suit your needs – and if we can’t add value, we won’t take up the contract.
The existing world of HR, Learning and Leadership are no longer fit for purpose, it’s time to implement change, do things differently and treat employees as able adults who are committed to doing a great job and being accountable for their role, their development and the quality of their work. We believe in honest, open, transparent (HOT) conversations, innovation, creativity, and agility. We work as a trusted partner for our clients, we educate and we keep things simple. We laugh, we smile and finally we have fun because we love our work.
Working with companies small and large we help our clients find ways of doing things differently and creating places to work where employees are happy, motivated and engaged.
If you’re keen for your organisation to move forward and take a different approach to your People agenda and would like to explore possible options, give us a call today on (01733) 857755 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Not one for thinking outside the box – mainly because she believes there isn’t one, Kelly founded Chrysalis in 2014 after being appointed as the UK’s Youngest HR Director (something she was told she couldn’t achieve with two young sons), after feeling that consultancy needed to more people and less process driven because – well that’s what gives consultants a bad reputation.
Through her consulting, coaching, talks, presentations, workshops and books, she rips up the rule book and helps people create what’s best for them, their teams and their organisations – not what’s best for their competitors.
With one foot in the now and one in the future, Michael leads the way when it comes to helping clients to do things differently (as well as more effectively). He takes complexity and makes it simple, because we believe that’s better for everyone.
Whether it’s client work or driving Chrysalis forwards, he always wants to know what next – he keeps the focus on people, productivity, performance and cash, oh, and he loves a good spreadsheet (he’s on his own with that one!).
Michael takes drawings and scribbles and turns them into online learning content – he takes words and creates amazing ebooks and infographics – he takes Powerpoint and makes it fun (yes, really!) – he takes ideas and turns them into reality.
How? We don’t quite know – but we know it’s his imagination that drives him.
We think Sue must be a ‘Master of the Dark Arts’, as she has hidden depths! Running our office with meticulous planning and capability, Sue is an avid list writer with a keen eye for detail. But don’t be fooled by that organised demeanour, for Sue is as creative as she is efficient! A skilled communicator with a humorous edge, Sue is as passionate about people and their learning and development as she is about becoming the future Mrs Tom Hardy or Mrs Benedict Cumberbatch (either will do!). An interesting career path has taken her from the glamour of working in luxury London hotels to the chilled Distribution Centres of supermarket retail, and whether managing small groups or large teams, people are at the heart of everything Sue does.
Not your typical HR consultant who gets stuck into ER issues and boring change programmes, Claudia is innovative, helps people to think and work in ways they never thought possible and she loves a project that allows the client to do something differently (and Nutella).
A real people person she brings all of her experience and her personality to everything she does.
